Future plans
All the steps that have been taken to increase the fishery resources of this upazila-1. Fish farming in every pond of the upazila in advanced traditional and semi-intensive method. The government (khas) fallow water bodies of the upazila were renovated / re-excavated through various projects to bring them under fish farming. Increase the fishery resources of the region by releasing more pona fish in floodplains and open water bodies. To train fish farmers in modern methods of fish farming through various types of training. Expansion of cage fish farming technology. Motivation of farmers to cultivate small species of native fish in the pond. To motivate the farmers by setting up exhibitions of different packages.
